I am of the nature to age, I have not gone beyond aging.
I am of the nature to sicken, I have not gone beyond sickness.
I am of the nature to die, I have not gone beyond dying.
All that is mine, beloved and pleasing, will become otherwise, will become separated from me.
I am the owner of my kamma, heir to my kamma, born of my kamma,
Related to my kamma, abide supported by my kamma.
Whatever kamma I shall do, for good or for ill -
Of that I will be the heir.
Thus we should frequently recollect.

Hi, Puthujjana!
I really like your blog, and found it has many parallels to my own (as I'm sure you've noticed). It's great to see another perspective on the Forest Path - so I hope that you post again soon!

P.S The 5 Subjects are powerful tools in the development of insight - it's always a good thing to be reminded of them. Nice post.
Hi Gary,
Thanks so much! I sometimes have a bit of difficulty translating what's in my heart into words, and right now I seem to have hit a snag. Only temporary I'm sure.
Kris
